The Clinical Effect of the Emazon in the Field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was designed to investigate and evaluate the effects and untoward effect of recently developed non-steroidal non-acidic anti-inflammatory analgesics "Emorfazon" in field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Of the 31 cases, 24 cases of extraction, 3 cases of subgingival currettage, 3 cases of open reduction, and I case of excisional biopsy were divided and evaluated.
The results were as follows.
1. Effective analgesic action was obtained in 23 patients (79.2%).
2. Nausea and vomiting in 2 patients and gastrointestinal trouble in 1 patient were encountered, but the symptoms were disappeared soon after discontinuation of the drug.
